Full Harvest Moon

I am doing something a little different today.

Our friend REMINGTON was the Full Moon Advisor here in Blogville.
Sadly Remington has been at the Rainbow Bridge for awhile.

In his honor, we would like to remind our furfriends

On Sunday night, September 27th, for the fourth time in the last 17 months,
the Moon will once again become completely immersed in the Earth's shadow, resulting  in
a total lunar eclipse. As is the case with all lunar eclipses, the region of visibility will encompass more than half of our planet. Nearly a billion people in the Western Hemisphere, nearly a billion and a half for much of Europe and Africa, and perhaps another half billion in Western Asia, will be able to watch as the full Harvest Moon becomes a shadow of it's former self and morphs into a glowing coppery ball.

Please take a few minutes to look up and remember
we all live here on Earth.
Be kind to each other and most of all be kind to all our furfriends.
xo Cinnamon

  1. I like this post. A lot. I've been in a funk this week...brought down by all of the meanness that seems to be taking over our world. I don't know why it's so easy...and common...to be mean to others.

I will make an extra effort to be kind...not to just not be mean. We need to turn this world around, Cinnamon!

  6. We love this post, we also think of Remington when the moon is full. Do you know they have started a campaign in our town. It is called "Kind Community". It is to promote kindness to others. They had a big kick off event at our new Wellness Complex and it drew a huge crowd

  8. We have to agree with Lin. How much happier we all could be if people only learned and applied the meaning of being kind and caring and loving.

We hope our skies will be clear enough to view this spectacular moon - we will let our some great Sibe woos!!!

  10. That's a wonderful way to view the upcoming lunar eclipse. I've been scouting out a good place to photograph it. It's pretty exciting because the eclipse will be starting just about at moonrise here!
